turbo = not a good idea on a hybrid motor unless you get different pistons. with the stock 2.4 pistons, you will end up with about a 11.4:1 compression ratio.
do a search on quad4forums.com and jbody.org
basically the 086 head is a direct bolt on to the 2.4 block. you will need to use a 2.3L head gasket. you can use the 2.3 OR 2.4L timing system and cam housings. you should also do the 2.3 oil pump conversion if you plan on using HO cams on the thing.
the hybrid swap is really only advisable if you use a standalone computer, the proper cams, and are planning to keep the car normally aspirated.
if you ask me, if you want to do a turbo, keep the 2.4 head and just get it ported to hell. then beef up the internals (eagle rods and JE or wiseco forged pistons). spyhunter is currently making 432 WHP with a basic 2.4 engine buildup and a GT30R. he ran 12 seconds before a tune, now it's quite possible he will hit the 11 second range.
turbo is definately the way to go with a quad motor.
