do you really need an A/F ratio or whatever you plan to put in those pods for intake, 180 stat, and some wires? I think its just usless rice really.

not trying to be a prick.....but you dont have a lot of cause to call rice on someone when you yourself have nothing but an oversized cheapo plastic WAI and nothing else......
extra guages can be VERY useful, if you get USEFUL ones....he never said what he is geting.....I will be doing it eventually but ill be getting USEful guages....trans temp, oil pressure, oil temp....etc......all very useful guages that enhance the ability to scope out car maintenance and problems.

ok i have a WAI on my car..... Even if i have 5 grand in mods to my car it wouldnt change my mind on the subject.
but i only see that stuff needed if your running FI or you race it offten, but for a daliy driven car with hardly any mods is pointless in my eyes.
thats the point i was getting to, wasnt trying to put anyone down, just saying i think it is useless with hardly any mods.

trans temp, oil pressuer and oil temp are VITAL statistics to your car in stock form and can prevent A LOT of headache if you have these guages and catch a problem early on.....so i think its full worth it....
fori nstance the 92-95 Sport Cluster in the grand ams ahd a full oil pressure guage.....but the 96-98 only have a dummy light.....and MOST people dont even know which light it is.....a guage is more accurate and shows you fluctuations and things.....a little red light, doesnt.

well if your transmission is overheated....its obviously working itself too hard, and something is wrong.....with the fluid, or the parts, bands, etc.....its just wise to make sure its in check....also you can monitor how well your transmission cooling modifications are working...such as a transmission cooler (which is a good thing ot have)
oil pressure.....well go read "my friday night" thread i made in the off topic, that explains it all.
oil temp goes hand in hand with pressure in a way....if it gets too hot (usually with FI setups and other things) then it can lose viscosity or start to break down and not lubricate things properly....
