Bye Bye Pontiac

I must admit it, I'm sad Pontiac is going to be going away. I still have my 93 Pontiac Grand AM GT and going to make it a priority to keep it in the best shape I can so in years to come I'll have a car that doesn't exist anymore. I even went on Ebay to look at some older Pontiacs.

What are your thoughts on this? Let's get everyones input .. I really want to hear it.

Re: Bye Bye Pontiac

I figured they would axe Buick before Pontiac.Guess it shows how much I know.I had two Trans Ams ,two Fieros and a 6000 so I always liked the brand.

Re: Bye Bye Pontiac

first it was Oldsmobile..the oldest car brand name (at the time), now Pontiac....just as they are getting even better in looks, and performance, (like Oldsmobile did) they (GM idiots) turn to "lean manufacturing" to cut out the fun. Whats the point of having Chevy and GMC then? IMO all trucks should be GMC..I love the looks better then the Chevy.

I think Holden should take over the Pontiac brand name here in the US, and outsell all the buicks...just to prove that GM has been screwing up for the past decade.

Re: Bye Bye Pontiac

Holden is owned by GM, and they along with Vauxhall, Dawoo, and Opel were kept along with Chevy, GMC, Buick, and Cadillac. Holden, being a part of GM, can't buy Pontiac, another part of GM. At least I don't assume so.
