95regal
can someone help please?!?! i dont know if its a relay problem or what

i got a 95 buick regal and when i turn the lights on, the headlights and taillights go on. and when i brake, the third brake light goes on but the rest of the taillights dont light up at all. i check the fuses under the hood where the case is for basic fuses. all relays are working, and i dont think its one of those cuz if it was, the lights wouldnt go on period if it was, right? like i said they light up fine and all the bulbs work, i figure maybe its somethin in the wiring somehow. the third brake light goes and everything but the regular taillights wont get brighter for the stop. any ideas??? this as been a big problem and i wont be able to get a sticker with the brake lights not working. any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you

are your turn signals working ok?

i had this same problem in my lumina and it was the turn signal switch in the column, because the car used a single bulb per taillight housing for the turnsignal, brake, and parking lights, the brake signal was wired into the switch. the switch was bad, so the tail lamps weren't getting the signal. replaced it now everything is ok.
