A Friend of mine has an 89 IROC Z28 camero. We're trying to get it in somewhat running condition. It starts and runs, but When you press on the gas it stutters and dies. Sometimes when It dies like that it backfires. It has a new fuel pump, and we also replaced all 8 injectors. Before the injectors it wasn't running on all cylinders, they were all gummed up. Also When it starts, It will start out real slow like its barely catching on then it slowly picks up speed until it idles like at least 4,000 RPM. It does this with or without the Throttle positioning Sensor connected. The fuel raill Seems to have good pressure. Any Ideas on what is causing this?
