So i finally got the nitrous hooked up on the mustang. Running a window/TPS switch that comes on at 3000 and shuts off at 5800.

I was running N/A and with a 100 shot on this video. These were my slowest passes of the day respectively

My best times are now

8.66@78 N/A

7.9@86 on 100 pill.

I was using 28x9 Mickey Thompson ET Drags.

Other mods are 4.10 gear, short shifter, catless midpipe and catback.

at 15 seconds thats an N/A run where i pwn a 93 240sx, and at ~1:54 i pwn a Twin Turbo (2jz swap) SC300 on drag radials. ;)

EDIT: Trap is a little low on the nitrous because i was having surging issues. My plugs are gapped too high and i had too low of bottle pressure. I'll be going back looking for 7.6's and a 90 + MPH trap.

you're running a good mid 12 second quarter with the nitrous, a mid 13 without. good job. i'm sure the drag radials helped with that though. what were your 60 foot times like? i would have liked to have seen what kind of times you would run on street tires instead...

anyhow i'm glad i run at a 1/4 track instead of an 1/8th. gto sucks with 60' and in the 1/8th.

should be closer to an 11 in the quarter....especially if i can get the nitrous surging to quit.

Similar car here ran a 7.6 in the 1/8 and 11.4 in the 1/4 at a quarter track.


I was pulling 1.7 60 foots.

if it makes you feel any better my car ran a 13 flat with an 8.5 1/8th... which is a horrible 1/8th for my 1/4 time. my 60 foot was 2 seconds. 245 width tires and IRS for the lose.

those times are good for what little mods you have.
