Tranny Dying?

I was wondering if you guys could help me out. I have a 1995 Grand Am Se with the 3.1L engine. Just recently, it has been acting up on me. For instance, at times, when I hit the gas, it will rev, but not move, then suddenly start moving. Or at other times, I will let off the gas, and when I hit the gas again it will rev then bite again. It also seems to be shifting really weird, such as it will start going, and then not shift when it would usually shift, or it will go between two gears before it finally picks one (i.e. it will upshift, then quickly downshift, then quickly upshift again). I am thinking that the tranny is about shot.

I was wondering if you guys had any other ideas or is the tranny done?

Thanks in advance.

check the vacuum line going to your transmission modulator, it might be damaged. Also check your transmission fluid level.

No....it doesn't shutter at all.

I also did figure out that there is a tranny fluid leak. I'm pretty sure that I now know where the leak is...but I cant find anybody who carries the part. It is part of the tranny fluid cooling line, where the line goes to a metal line, and into the radiator. The actual metal peice seems to be cracked.
