personally i wish GM would have evolved the design more, it does look too much like the c5.

here we go again with the c5/rx7 comparisons... corvettes have had that general styling (large front fenders, low hood, wide stance, you get the picture) way way waaay before fucking rx7s. so its a moot point. c5 didn't imitate the 3rd gen rx7. ![]() ![]() only similarities i see between the 2 are the front fenders (like they haven't always been there on the 'vette :rolleyes: ) and the headlights. and they're only SIMILAR, they have nowhere near the same configuration though. sorry, i don't think they share too much in common at all. i know i wouldn't mistake one for the other if i saw one drive by. |

i'm not saying any of the cars don't look similar, but its not MISTAKEABLY similar. and gm isn't ripping anyone's style with the 'vette... IMO it has a look of its own... its always got its classic ties but its very modern too.
and for $50 grand, i would take a vette over an M3 any fuggin day. better power, weight, handling AND styling (of course the latter being my opinion). |
