1996 gmc sonoma

hey new to the site and i have a question i have a friend who is selling there 1996 sonoma ext cab 4x4 v6 with 4" lift 32"inch mudders. my question is the engine has 434000 kms is it worth it?? the engine runs good everything feels intake i there are asking 3500 for it... does it sound worth it or should i look else where

the interior isnt in the best shape the 4wheel drive doesnt work and there is rust on cab corners and box, there was fog lights but they have been removed

I say look elsewhere. The pre97 4.3 V6 motors suck. Especially with that mileage, makes me nervous.

Try sticking with one thats around $2500 if you go that old. Or better, look for a 98+ model.

as far as im concerned the pre 97 are the better of the vortecs i got one that has 121k on it and i beat the hell out of my trucks and it runs like new and has never not started i say u should stick the money into ur sonoma its definitly worth it
