2005 Chevelle

There have been rumors floating around about the return of the Chevelle in 2005 and that it will be based off the GTO (Monaro) body. I found a picture of it and I think it looks meaner and more agressive than the GTO.

No chance the Chevelle will come back.

Historically the Chevelle has been the twin brother to the GTO. (just like the Cav and Sunfire and countless other GM cars).

The Camaro is coming back as the new brother of the GTO.
The Camaro’s name is much more recognized and That’s what they will bring back. If i remember right its going to be in 2007 or 2008 GM America starts making the next generation of GTO here state side.

I doubt it, if GM brings the Camaro back then the Firebird will comeback as well, unless they plan on just having the GTO as a limited run model and bring back the Firebird nameplate for the next generation. The only other thing they would do is comeback with a v-8 rwd Monte Carlo for the next generation (which there is talk of), as a brother to the GTO.

Just because "Vehical A" and "Vehical B" in the passed where twins, does not automaticly mean that if they bring back "Vehical A", "Vehical B" is soon to follow.

The Firebird is not comming back.
The Chevelle is not comming back.
The Monte is keepin its W-body and getting a supercharger (for now)
The Camaro is comming back, built on the next gen GTO platform, but will not share body panels.
The GTO is here, and it kicks ass.

i agree...i like the GTO but a chevelle would be pushing it..

if they bring back the chevelle, it needs to be a cheap performance car, not a $30k monstrosity. I mean, i like the GTO.... its fast, and its mean, but its pricey. Camaro sounds like a good brother to the GTO, and then a cheaper chevelle based off on another, less expensive chassis for cheaper performance.

what you talking about willus, lol i can see gm now, "lets take the gto body and slap the grill on from a chevell, a nova and then give olds a 442 with it". lol man i wish the cars looked diff. hopefully hte next gen camaro will look difrent than the GTO its rumored to have completley difrent sheet metal and stance.
