Anybody know anything about this truck. I know it's AWD and pretty powerful. Is it a reliable truck? Any info about the truck itself and its aftermarket is appreciated.

its a blazer with olds badges, and a differant dash.

From what I understand they are good trucks.

Yeah, I'm not quite sure how I feel about the looks. It seems like the performance is there, but I wanna look good too.

I can't argue that one :goob: the newer ones look much better IMO actually Olds looked to have gotten their act together in the last few years before its death  figures.

and the 3.5 DOHC v6 and 4.0 v8 were very respectable and competed with European and Japanese v6s much better than, say the 3400. (I love the 60 degree family, in my 10 year old car :goob: but these days they just don't compete) The 3.5 DOHC Olds engine could actually hang in the same catagory as the Nissan VQ and the Honda v6's, its a shame becasue the 3.5 DOHC could really help round out the GM line, but it appears it and the 4.0 will be abandoned.

I just keep pulling this thread further of topic, but were Aururas and Intrigues built on platforms specific to Olds?

The Intrigue was a w-body like the GP and I'm not sure about the aurora. All I know is that the newer one was on a different chassis than the original.
