The brakes that keep on giving!

I love my Silverado. I use it as a daily driver .. I really do beat the hell out of it. I drive over 100 miles a day. The truck is a 2003 1500HD. It has the 34 gallon tank, which can hurt with gas prices the way they are. But, this truck is remarkable.

Believe it or not I have over 113,000 miles on it with the SAME set of brakes. I just can't get over it. I continue to monitor them but they still have life let on them.

Just how long will these brakes go ... Going through my second set of tires on them now!

Yea, I was used to the Grand AM frequent brakes .. I just can't get over this truck! It amazes me!

I have a 96 GMC Z71 and my drums are toasted. They sqeal like banshees. BUt i have to say i beat the piss out of this truck and it just keeps on goin without missing a beat. My cardomain has pics.

i have over 90,000 on my original set of pads. i don't even think they are half way. these pads are the best i've seen

Yea, I must agree, these on my truck as the best I've seen. It's great .. especially with the amount of miles I put on the truck.

are they the oem brakes?

Yes, they were the stock OEM brakes that came with the truck.

Well, at a little over 116,000 miles the rear brakes started to squeak. I had to replace them this week. Can't complain though :)

i am on 60k on my 02 frontier with the same brakes, not nearly as great as your 100+K miles
