Droping my S-Dime

I'm dropping my truck later this spring, and Im wondering how low I should go. I'm going to have to roll on the stock rims for a while, and can't afford some new rims and tires. I'm just wondering how low I should go, I am just doing springs and blocks for now, so let me know guys. I appreciate it big time!

I agree.

Looking at the pic of it, I'd say you would need to do at least a good 3" drop for it to look nice.

well since it's not going to be adjustable i wouldn't go to extreme. i've got friends that have a 5/7 and they have to be careful with bumps and stuff. i'd go with like a 3/5, then you have a good stance, but it's not so low you're gonna have to pinch your butthole everytime you go over a bump :D

See, I'm thinkin a 3/4 to start with. That way I can be able to still get by with it and not run into the whole rubbing on every driveway and shit! Thanks for the imput, and keep it all coming, if anyone has some pics of the trucks you know that are dropped and how big they are droped I would appreciate that too!

i wouldn't go too overboard with it until you get the tire/rim combo you're wanting. when i told you 3/5 i was thinking of full size. a 3/4 would give you a nice drop and you wouldn't have to be too overly conscience of bumps

Thanks. I was convinced by a buddy of mine to go with a 3/4 Drop, and put some fat little 16" Wires on it. I've always liked that look on my bodystyle, and I think I'm really going to like it. Just have to get the MONEY to do all of it now.
Thanks again.

Not yet, haven't really started it yet, I'm going to start dropping it after I get back from a Conference in Nashville starting on Tuesday, so I'll take pics of the process.

I'd love to JACK my truck to the sky, but the whole 4 Cylinder 2.2L with only 2 wheel drive kind of turns me off that idea. I have always prefered a lifted truck over a dropped truck, but I'd rather drop my current truck and LIFT my next truck!!!

oh i understand COMPLETELY ... and yes not much power going to 2 wheels on a jacked truck :D .... but your type of s10 dont seem like the one you lower... i always thought the other type was the kind to lower:beer:
