EBrake cable broke

Was at Friday's having fun .. drinking .. and decide to leave a little after 10pm. Go to my truck, pull the ebrake latch, and the damn cable broke! Truck was parked with the ebrake engaged. Had to pop it manually and just not using the ebrake now. Anyone ever replace this? Is is hard? How much does the part cost? Any ideas or tips is appreciated!
