Im new here and Im learning to do my own tuning with HPTuners. I bought it back in July to tune my families GM products. I -had- a 2006 Silverado with the 4.3 (hence my name on here) 4L60 and a G80 3.23 out back. Now, in HPTuners, theres an option called Abuse Mode that is enabled on the V8 trucks, that inhibits your ability to pretty much do anything constructive, like burnout, or do a quick take off. What puzzled me, was the fact that it was already disabled in my 4.3's calibration. So, are there any tuning Guru's who can tell me what I missed? The truck is gone now (i rolled it over, and totaled it back in october), but i'd still like to know how to fix that issue. The only logical suggestion anyone has given me, was that i didnt have a full tank of gas and that the gas was rushing away from the pickup line. Regardless of how full the tank was, it wouldnt make a difference; it wouldnt even spin the wheels unless you had some bleach down. lol
So whoever can help, thanks a ton!
