My 2003 Silverado SS

Just thought I'd add some pics of my 2003 Silverado SS that I just bought. I have a few things I need to change like get rid of the ricer taillights & put the stock ones back on, & I would love to find a set of stock SS wheels for it since the previous owner sold them to get these 22's. Anyways let me know what you think...

Re: My 2003 Silverado SS

i like the SS trucks, but i'm sorry, those rims and taillights are HIDEOUS. the previous owner really KILLED the looks of that truck. i, personally would put the SS emblems back on it

Well thanx for the positive comments....LOL I agree with you that the taillights are hideous, but I'm liking these 22's(well not as much as the stock wheels) but have to roll on these for a while, until I can get the cash for them.

I'm still debating on the emblems, think I may go with black SS emblems if I do. The truck just looks soooo clean without them.

Re: My 2003 Silverado SS

lol, sorry for the comments.

i think it would look good without the emblems with the stock wheels back on it. lol, i'm just not a fan at all of those particular wheels. the tires are nice though. same tires im running on my silverado and TBSS.

the rest of the truck looks clean though. i've been looking to by a SSS, but haven't found one cheap enough for me though. i dont want one bad enough to pay the price most people are wanting

Re: My 2003 Silverado SS

no problem on the comments... I'm getting the same reply on all the forums I'm on:( We found our SSS pretty reasonable the dealership was asking $22,000, but we got it for less than that, plus they paid off our trade in, so that made me happy & kept my payments about the same.

New wheels will be coming in the future, just takes time & money, unless I can find someone to trade some stock ss wheels & tires for these 22's

Re: My 2003 Silverado SS

Good choice on the rims! They look much better than the Bling bling ones.

Find a set of tail lights yet?

Re: My 2003 Silverado SS

They are BOSS 330's. I really wanted them in 22's but they only make them in 20's & 24's. 24's are waaaay to big for my taste, so I went with the 20's. I love them, ride is much better with some more tire than what those 22's had. Plus those Toyo Proxies that were on the 22's sucked, I was glad to get rid of those, they were too soft.

The ride is aweful damned close to stock being lowered 3" up front & 4" in the back. Best part is I did all the work!!!
