Need help!

Hey everyone! My dad has a 2000 Bravada and when you are driving it the flasher randomly starts making the ticking noise like you have the blinker on...so he went and replaced the flasher and it still does it...but he said that when he hooked the wires up to it it made the noise and when it was disconected then it stopped...so you would think it was the flasher but it isnt! So does anyone have any ideas?

when you hear the clicking, are either the arrows flashing on the dashboard? ill take a guess at it and say a loose wire in the turing signal arm and its grounding out on the wire that leads the the circut board behind the dash.

no the blinker doesnt come on at all when it clicks..unless we turn it on....you still think it is what u said?
