Power window motor - 90 Astro CL

My dad has an Astro CL... For some time, there's been an intermittent problem with the drivers side window, sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't... Well, he's going on a canoe trip, and it's stuck down (the asses at wally world rolled it down :rolleyes:)

Anyway, we took about 3 hours playing with it, narrowed it down to the motor being the problem... but the damn motor is riveted in there. Anyone know how to change that motor?

yeah...you gotta drill those out...definitely not a good time, I did it on my 97 ga when I had it...I did not enjoy that experience at all...

Yeah, that sure won't be a good time... I think dad's almost to the point of taking it somewhere to get it fixed... Maybe he finally will now...
