Question what do i need to lower my 89 4x4 s-10

I have an 89 s-10 4.3 liter 4x4 drive on the floor shifter and i want to know which parts and changes i need to replace and put in to make it full rear wheel drive and have the ability to be lowered?? and information would be helpful:banghead:

I'm sure I am going to catch shit from someone for this but... Why not find a 2wd S-10 and start with that. In order to get rid of the front wheel drive you will basically have to take the front suspension from a 2wd and put it on your truck. The easiest way to do that would be to get a donor car, otherwise the parts will nickle and dime you to death. Find a 2wd S-10 that is in decent shape and start your project with that.

the 4x4 of your s10 if working probably doubles it's value why do you want to get rid of that. If I had a 4x4 and wanted to do suspension mods I'd lift it instead of lower it.
