What Size Exhaust?

I am looking to buy an aftermarket muffler for my 01 S10 with a 4.3 vortec. I just want to put it inplace of my stock muffler for now, running the stock pipes. What size inlet/outlet muffler will I need for this. I am not sure of the sizes I will need.

you can measure it or look online. Its probably a 2 inch or 2.4 inch outlets and inlet. most of the websites like flowmaster, magna flow have direct fitments just look online.
