01 S10 CD Player.

I have a 01 S10 and the CD player doesn't seem to want to read CD's most of the time. What could be the problem?

its probably broken, if its a stock CD player its well past its prime, should cost you about 200 bucks for a radio installed if you take it somewhere and thats depending on the price of the player
it shouldn't cost more than 50 bucks labor, and 50 to 60 in parts. its cheaper to replace it than fix it. take it to somewhere like best buy. those trucks can be tricky with the under dash hex bolts and hazard lights button.
