almost done with install

well this is taking much longer than i hoped. i would say i am about 90% done with interior. im done with painting and upholstrey. now im just doing odds and ends. all the neons are installed(8). stereo is working, im going to a Bostwick shop so they can help me tune it a little better so that i dont over power the subs again and blow them. i got to make a junkyard run when the weather is a little better for sum misc parts i have misplaced in the last year i have been working on it. it is not very sunny out today so the pics arent that great. i will go and try the pics again with the flash on once i post this. i havent posted in awhile cause i misplaced my ****ty camera, but i found it today. u cant tell very well but anything that is plastic in the car was painted blue. the dash i vinyle dyed and then the setup in the backseat was wrapped in vinyl and then i vinyl dyed it as well to match the dash. things left are:headliner, about 10 misc pieces from junkyard, switch plate under radio for about 10 switches, clean up everything getting my fingerprints off, the front doors need to be installed with components attached, new steering wheel shifter and ebrake(ne1 selling let me know, and thats about it. i should have all that done this week, leaving me about 2 weeks to finish trunk, clean engine bay and do my calipers.

looks sweet. id recomend to cover the batteries and vent them out of the vehicle before you get a spark and it blows or catches on fire.

With optimas... you could mount it upside down if you want and no acid would leak... I assume that means the vents wouldnt be 100% necessary but I could be wrong.

well today i got some little things done. i found the screws for the plastic kick plates for each door and put them in. just went ahead and put headliner in as is. put the trim at base of seats back in painted. put sunvisors back in, ill get them wrapped after nopi. my main project for the day was my front door panels. when i first made them i made them with 6inch woofers in the doors, now i have 6.5 and they wouldnt fit. this wouldnt of been a big deal but the panels are already painted. so i got the dremel out and went to work, it took about an hour but i finally wittled enuf away and got the passenger door done(shown in pic). inside i have to do other door, and a switch plate and thats it for the inside besides cleaning. then i can move to trunk and finsih that mess up.
