im kinda curious........why are you wanting an entire fiberglass enclosure? doing something like the guy in the explorer did is understandable, but if you're doing something that can have all normal sides and then a fiberglass top that's what i'd do. wood is easier to work with than fiberglass i think. but again, just depends on your application :)

yeah, and tape is very effective, it peels right off the fiberglass, doesnt stick to it...its not hard at all to do...just start doing it and you will see....

use poylester to strecth over rings etc, its really easy to use...get it at wal mart. then resin it...after that hardens, lay your cloth on top of it it, and resin that...the poylester resined by itself wont be strong enough...so you have to do a layer of glass...

that's gonna look pretty damn good when you get done. what are you going to do about the amps, crossover, etc being sunk in like that? cover it with plexiglass? if it were mine and i didn't put plexiglass over it i would have raised everything to make flush with the top. there's a focus here in town that has his subs flush mounted in the box, then for the amp racks he put a 90 degree piece of wood going straight up on the edge of the car (like where you're components are) and his amps are flush mounted there. then everything is covered in gray vinyl, it's a phat setup, just not as loud as mine :p

gonna look pimp :p

like i was telling someone the other day on one of the forums, dont remember which one though. i've seen people have a amp rack like you do.....with the plexi over their amps. and they took some white paint and painted something in the middle of the plexi, then put a blue neon in with the amp. at night when you turned the neon on it looked good and showed the paint really well. they had a medical cross (ambulance sign thing) on their's cause they're an EMT. just a suggestion. saw it, thought it looked good, thought i'd pass it along :)
