**** UPDATE ****

That Pile-o-crap Clarion took a dump on my a couple days ago. All the buttons except the volume stopped working. Great huh? Well anyways.. my friend looked in to some Sony Xplods, well anyways I got one, and MAN.. what a difference in sound quality and Bass!!! I will get a pic of the deck soon.. I was kind of skeptical getting a Sony, but so far.. SO GOOD!

yea, hard to believe huh? unless that clarion was THAT hard to tune. but i don't think so.. anyways only one complaint so far.. it skips a bit, however sheboygan roads suck, and my ride is lowered and bouncy.. soooo maybe thats why.. the clarion skipped too, just not as much

What is the RMS on that mtx, looks like a 15, no? So those two rockfords in the back, big waste of money , ive got a 440 rms alpine amp and it does two 12's greatly. And what kind of distortion rate does your deck give out if its so much better than that clarion.

You know for being such a newb, you are a little cocky. First off that is not a 15 it's a 12. 2nd, I'm glad you think my Rockfords are a waste of money. They are great amps and they have been the best i have ever owned. Now as far as your set up, I'm glad either a: you're under powering those 12's of yours, or b: they are just cheap ass subs and can't handle more than what you are giving it.
I will get all the specs for you later when I'm not at work.

Next time ask nicely, don't be a dick.

Now for the people that gave me compliments, thank you. I would like to let everyone know that I just entered my stereo in an SPL competion. First time I've ever done that. It was at GLD (Great Lakes Dragaway) this weekend. Awesome show by the way. Anyways suprisingly my one 12, hit 131.9! I was very impressed, along w/ the judges. They could'nt believe I only had 1 12 in there. The guy was like " Man i've got $20,000 invested in my stereo and I'm only hitting 134! ". Made me feel a little better. Well I didn't take home a trophy, but again it was my first competition. And I was very pleased w/ the numbers, since I was up against guys w/ 2 to 3 subs, and they were hitting no better than 138.

Next Dynomat! LOL, let me know if you guys think that is a good idea.

Those are all fairly low numbers... my one 12 hit 140 and two twelves hit 145 and two fifteens hit 148 in my Grand Ams over the years. I think something was wrong with their mic... but still if you were hangin with the best of them, cool. :)

Dynamat is good, a ported box instead of sealed is worth 3-4 db. I got two single 12" ported boxes laying around...

Yeah thats true... :)

The one box I have will take up pretty much your whole trunk... I had a rockford power hx2 12 in that, and that was sweet.

The other box will take up about 1/3 trunk... I'll measure it later today and post what it is. Both of them are in great shape, carpeted slot ported made by Frohn's before they went out of business.

Ah yes, good Ol' frohn's. I liked them. Shame they went out of buisness. Yea let me know about those boxes. Also my friend had thought that this specific MTX tested best in a cubic foot sealed box, like i have. Let me know your input on that too, if you don't mind.
