well it would be ideal if your headunit had aux inputs, but if it don't, don't worry. get you an FM modulator, sound isn't quite as clear as aux inputs, but it'll get the job done. then price just depends on what you want. you can get a 12v dvd player brand new for about $150. and a 7" screen for about $250. and of course you might be able to find it cheaper and you can definitely get more expensive.

You can actually get a 12 volt dvd player for less than $100 and a 7" widescreen LCD monitor for $100-$120 on ebay. The LCD monitors are all about the same quality (regardless of brand) from MY experience anyways. I bought two legacy monitors and one fahrenheit one before and they have 2+ years on them and they are still working great... Like matts said though just pick up an RF modulator or order pioneer's aux input module. The pioneer decks use IP bus and you can get an adapter to allow an aux input (which would be much cleaner) but I do not know where to order that or how much it would be. Hope that helped some.

x-box or ps2
x-bow and ps2 are getting so cheap that you might as well get one instead, they both play dvd's and the x-box stores your music on the 6gig (upgradeable) harddrive so you don't have to mess with cd's

i thought it was a 10 gig?
anyways, that just depends on mountability. the reason im not putting a PS2 in emily's car is because of space issues. a 12v dvd player will fit neatly in her glove box, out of harm's way and prying eyes.........if you could see in her car anyway |

x-box or ps2
either one could probably be put under the front seat, or even under the dash, cause they have front loading drawers like a cd rom in a computer, + the ps2 can be mounted on its side
