MB Quart any good?

Looks like the best deal on some name-brand 5.25" component speakers are a set of MBQuart DSC 213's, which I believe are MBQuart's cheaper line. Their sensitivity is only 85db though, which worries me.

I'm looking for a good set of components that won't break the bank (under $100). Anyone think the DSC's are any good? What about the Infinity References? I have a set of Polk EX components up front in the GA, I'm perfectly happy with those, which only cost me $60 at Circuit City (open box). So, I'd think nowadays $80 should get me something nice.

I gotta start collecting parts to get some audio in the GP. It sounds like shit and it's really starting to bother me.

MBQuart has been known to make great speakers. I do not know much about their different lines, but they are a good company. Infinity Reference is good as well. I was planning on getting reference components all around... they are very nice, IMO. Hope that helps.

Dunno, but I've heard enough good things about them that I went for it. I picked up a pair of these . Think it was a good deal.

Next step is to get the Pioneer 4-channel amp I want, and decide on a headunit. Headunit will be the most difficult decision. Clarion DXZ maybe?

Kenwood makes kick ass head units, as does Alpine. Clarion does too, but they look funny in my opinion. I'm getting none of those though... panasonic for me :D

MB Quarts are awesome, I got 2 pairs of PCE 216's...youll be happy, they are very high htough, not much mid bass...but hey, bass is for subs...

I want one of them there Clarion DXZ925 head units... They're pretty pimpin, but pretty expensive too! And it's Clarion, it's bound to sound good...

just remember you get what you pay for!! Especially in audio, unless of course you have a hook up ;)
