while my radio is still at bestbuy getting fixed my brother inlaw is letting me borrow his HU(which is the same one i had) for the time being. hooked it up and everything is working exactly the way i planned. everything is getting power and turning on when switched on. it feels good to do something and see it work. i am still waiting on the crossovers for my component sets so i have some 3 inch 2 ways i hooked up to the radio so i can have some tunes. nice to hear music again. and since i had some music i mine as well have some bass with it, so i hooked up my subs. WOW. they are loud. i didnt want to over use them, so i am going to be gentle with them for about 15 hours then ill beat the house down. i am going to get the crossovers tomo after work and should have the components installed this sunday. until next time. her is a pic of my katzkin leather seats. its pacific blue and pearl white with pearl white stitching. and my 3 point harness seatbelts

well after further testing i noticed one sub not preforming as well as the other. so ichecked all conections, took sub out and checked connections, played with amp to make sure one of the channels didnt go out. tehn while looking at my crossovers for the amps i noticed each looked different hooked up. i had one hooked up for highoutput crossover. so i switched that around so it was hooked up for lowpass and what a difference. went to my lcoal car shop to get some advice on somet hings and the ended up helping me with alot. got my alarm working. got a door soelnoid loose so i can change it out. drilled em a hole in firewall. and got my battery isolater hooked up. now i can turn it on or off.so while im driving if i want the alt to charge the battereis in the back it will. or if i wanna sit in the parking lot and play my music it iwll only drain the battereis in back leaving me with an undrained battery up front. ill have components installed wednesday and this weekend i start sanding and painting all inetrior parts one last time. anyone know where i can get a headliner?

well today i got alot done. i got my 4 neons put in for the abck amp wall. i got the fan put in under the amps to help with cooling and i installed 1 set of components in the back. sanded all the surfaces where i had to use wood putty. i didnt hook the neons or fan up to power yet cause i need some switches so i can turn on and off. everything fits right and the neons arent visible from the outside. the fan is somewhat visible but thats what i was going for. i plan on writing stinger when done with car and see if i can pick up a sponsorship for some remaining things id like to have but dont want to buy. so, i want all their accessories to be visible to show i have spent a pretty penny with them already. the components sound amazing, it is so nice to have highs again. i have been beating around town with some 3 inch 2 ways hooked up to the radio, and i just couldnt hear them all i heard was the bass. i havent really tested them, only had rap cds in the car, but so far im happy with them, they are loud as shiot. and i still have another set to go up front in the doors. besides some minor wiring the back seat is complete. i will ride around with everything where it is for the rest of this week and next sunday i will begin ripping it all out so i can vinyl it. i have begun some sanding on the plastic trim pieces in the car, but still have alot to do with that, i have only done 120 grit on all of them, still got to do 200 400 800, then prime and 800 and paint. once im done with the back seat ill start on the trunk which shouldnt take but a day of construction then a day of vinyl. i have included some pics. the first one shows the back side of my face plate for the amp rack. you can see the 4 9 inch neons i used plus at the base the fan. 2nd pic is of the crossover mounted in its place. third is of everything installed and in it place. and th elast pic is of how it looks when looking back. until next time

ok well the construction of my backseat and install is complete. all wires are ran.everything works great.i am going to finish up my sanding and painting, then ill rip it all out, install the painted pieces in the back, wrap all the wood in vinyl, and reinstall all electronics, and cut the wires to a more accurate length so there is not to much excess. heres a couple of pics. once i get painting ill post pics so u can see my choice of colors.
