2.4L Header for 96-98 GA's by TRS
Follow the link for more info.
http://www.quad4forums.com/forums/sh...6829#post36829
The header will be in the $400 range
The 2.3L header that TRS sells made around 20hp and 10ft/lbs over a stock 2.3L HO motor. Or 171hp and 150ft/lbs compared to a stock LGO that makes around 150hp and 140ft/lbs stock.

If you guys aren’t familiar with the-race-shop, here’s a link to their site with info on the 2.3L headers, notice the length of them, making them a true long tube header, unlike the shorty pacesetter header http://www.the-race-shop.com/HUpdate.html

but anyway, 171 at the wheels = 205 hp at the crank.... for an otherwise stock lg0 with no more than a header and exhaust.

good quality v6 and v8 headers tend to be really expensive

yeah but i've also seen headers mainly for v8s (and some v6s) that are quite cheap (for headers). in fact i've seen tons of sets of headers for small blocks that are cheaper than that.
