3100 throttle body spacer

Well, due to popular demand (LOL), I think its necessary to start up this thread again. The price was $45 for the first ten, and actually Josh is workin on getting phenolic to make these. Here are some pictures of the space shuttle aluminum ones. Also, he will make these for the 3400's too... I am getting a 3400 throttle body so he is making one for me that should then work on 3400's as well.

What kind of performance increase is this going to bring? Does having some extra air in the manifold really make a difference? Is this aluminum or steel?

That was super light aluminum. We don't really know yet. But having them out of phenolic will be good as it will keep the tb cooler than the upper intake. Many companies sell them and people claim different things from them (more volume in the plenum, cooler tb, etc). Mine will go on next week sometime (after my car is back together) so I will know then if it makes a difference.

jeremy96gase is on a distinguished road
I thought it was $35 for the first ten, then $45 after.

Someone might be laughing to themself...but after getting some news on the electric turbo I am willing to accept more possibilities for performance on this thing. Show piece...well I don't care about that crap but its your car and not my problem.

If the electric turbo can add 10 hp to a 3100 (im waiting to see the dyno sheets for proof but it came from a very reliable source), then I can see a TB spacer adding 1 hp for whatever reason. Ill wait to see a dyno sheet on it as well though before I change my mind on its performance aspect.
