WAIT! the throttle body spacer absolutly WILL NOT FIT ANY 3100 or 3400 MOTOR!!!!!! Has anyone taken a look at the bracket holding the throttle cables??? It bolts to the bottom of the throttle body AND the top of the intake manifold. so... if you try to make the space between the IM and TB longer then the bracket wont fit and therefore you wont be driving cause your throttle cables are flopping in the breeze with a metal bracket on the end of them, anyone who has removed the throttle body from there car before will know exactly what im talking about.
this isnt the best pic (got it off n-body.net) but you can see the bracket its the thing right after the letters TB or just follow the cables. OR hey better yet go pop your hoods and see for yourself on your own cars know for sure.

Doesn't matter.. its probably not going to be made now... everyone is so retarded about things, even if it is a "show piece." I don't care... also, there is no need for those two bolts... there is also one on the bottom that holds the bracket in place just fine... believe me I just rebuilt the top half of my engine. Nobody was claiming that this would be a huge performance gian or anything. Josh figured because other companies make them (for a lot more money) he would try and help out the GM community. So much for that thought. This thread can get deleted for all I care... its just a waste of space now.

Well, the reason I don't like is the simple fact that it does......NOTHING! I am not into "show".....I just want a quick and clean car.
Thereinfore, if a part that doesn't do anything, doesn't get made.......oh well.

and your a good example of just why nothing gets amde...i hope the next time you are asking a company to make a "performance" product for your exeedinly slow beretta that they realize what a retard you are and tell YOU to screw off so you know how it feels.

ANY performance (power, brake, and suspension) company that has attempted to make ANYTHING for the 60 degree's or L-Bodies that has actually made some form of improvment I have backed 100% (i.e. FFP and their UDP and lower dogbone).
I have also discouraged people from buying stuff from certain companies that have false claims about their products.....like Superchips and Street Arsenal.
As far as trying to getting companies to make stuff for my car? Yes...I have....mandrel bent exhaust from Mantapart, reflashes from DHP, and headers from S&S....ALL have basically said to piss off.
BUT
Why invest money/time/effort into something that does NOTHING? Also, how would a worthless product promote growth of the aftermarket?

well im referring to show cars....sure a TB spacer is worthless as a show peice unless every other part of the car is done up....but still any part is a part i guess.....im just saying dont cock off when some people want something made just cause it isnt important to you.

I have to disagree, im sorry
even if an individual or company makes a complete a piece of shit component for our cars, things are still accomplished. If a company sees that there is a high demand for a certain part, and the only one that exists doesnt work very well and there are lots of complaints about it, that makes for a very lucrative deal for that company.
think about it, the more companies that make parts for our cars, no matter how good they are, the more other companies will be encouraged to do the same.
One word, Honda Civic: THOUSANDS of companies make parts for these cars, some are good, and some are as cheap as cheap gets. Companies saw that kids were buying parts for these cars out the ass and im sure that persuaded them to copy designs and design new parts. Pretty soon we'll all be getting Honda Civic parts in our happymeals at McDonalds
ANY interest in our cars will in some way or another lead to further interest and aftermarket support
-John

Yep.
I was clarifing that, in fact, it does NOTHING to the output of the motor. Some people are mistaken about this.....I wasn't wanting a "newbie" to purchase this product and be dissappointed. But beings that its not being made, I don't have to worry about it.
