I'd say just get a exhaust shop to weld one up for your. Unbolt the Flange from the manifold, cut off the pipe just before the Cat (or just after the aftermarket stuff starts). Then weld new 2 1/4 pipe on the flange.

Well, thats the way I'd do it.

If you put in a down pipe you will lose back pressure= loss in TQ
you will also need a O2 eliminator $45
I would go with a high flow cat.
Thats what i have

Or you could do what Jeremy said and weld in a bung for the o2 sensor... wouldn't be that hard. And a bigger downpipe would be better than a smaller one. Especially now that he has an engine with 20 more hp and idk how much more torque.

downpipe does pretty much nothin without headers... i got a 3'' downpipe to 3'' pipe to 3'' hiflow magna cat to 3'' to the split into 2.5'' duals with 2.5'' super turbos (YA NO STRAIT PIPES NO MO) but sounds good still

The kitty cat is right. Sure you can weld a 2.5" pipe onto the downpipe flange and have 2.5" all the way back to the tips, but the flange is still going to be stock sized. And lets say you hog out the downpipe flange to 2.5", too. Your manifold collectors are still going to be stock sized. So, while adding a larger downpipe-back exhaust WILL help, and moreso than a cat-back, its still not going to help THAT much.

On a side note, my header is shipping out to me from the ceramic coaters today. GLEE!!
