383 Stroker Concerns
hey
I have a 350 small block that i am having bored and stroked to a 383 stroker and and i was just wondering if this would be a good engine for a daily driver. It is going in a 1987 camaro with a 700 r4(stall converter and racing shift kit) and a stock rear end. I was a little concerned with gas mileag and if anyone knows about these engines i would appreciate any advice. Thanks

It's tough to say given your post has little info on the engine specs save for cubic inches (i.e., what about cam spec, target compression ratio, heads, carb, etc.).
A 572 can be a good daily driver if that is what it is designed to be. As for mileage... ummmmmm.. magic 8-ball says "Not a chance". Cheers,
