383 Stroker Concerns
I have a 350 small block that i am having bored and stroked to a 383 stroker and and i was just wondering if this would be a good engine for a daily driver. It is going in a 1987 camaro with a 700 r4(stall converter and racing shift kit) and a stock rear end. I was a little concerned with gas mileag and if anyone knows about these engines i would appreciate any advice. Thanks |

It's tough to say given your post has little info on the engine specs save for cubic inches (i.e., what about cam spec, target compression ratio, heads, carb, etc.).
A 572 can be a good daily driver if that is what it is designed to be. As for mileage... ummmmmm.. magic 8-ball says "Not a chance". Cheers, |
