'85 Trans Am LG4 to H.O. 5.7

I posted this question in the new member forum with no luck so I hope that someone can help me here. My T/A came with the anemic carbureted LG4, approx. 155 hp, that I replaced with a built 350 85K miles ago. I had a custom chip burned for the mods to keep everything legal, but now it is time for a rebuild. I noticed that GM perf. parts offered a kit for this swap that included another entire ECM plus custom E-proms. I am hoping to find if this is a recomended part change and is there a part number for this ECM? No one seems to know so if you can help me find out, it is much appreciated!!

hmmmm ... personally no clue... my best guess would be to find a dealership that sells gm performance parts....

while you're at it... check out lv-fbody... they have a web forum full of nothing but well f-body guys.. they're west coast, but they know their stuff.
