Engine Rebuild
hey,
Anyone know of a good site explaining how to rebuild a 1998 2.2L Cavalier engine? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

you might want to invest in a hase or chiltins manual for late model J-bodys.
I've not seen (nor looked for) a site that explanes the rebuild process for the 2.2L.

Or you may just want to do an engine swap, look into swaping the 2.3HO into that cavalier.

there are a few people on jbod.org with 3x00 engines hooked up to 5 speeds.

I do beleive you will be able to get more power out of the 2.3HO for a cheaper price than in the 3100.
