hello.. - GM Performance Tuning

my friend works at a car dealership....they just got a wrecked monte carlo, i checked it out. the whole front end is fxxked, radiator is bent in a little. anyways, the gtp series 3??? engine is in there. says they don't wanna fix the car, and the engine has 18000 on it, he's going to get the estimation of the car, insurance or whatever? i have a 99 gagt, my bro is also interested in this, wondering if the engine and tranny could work in my car? swap out my 3.4 and put that engine and tranny in my car. can it be done? i know that gtp engines have been swapped in grand ams, makes sense it's from a grand prix, didn't know that since its a series 3 whatever? i think he told me that, if it'd fit in my car. i have the SD ram air hood on my car, custom cai, and thats it. is this worth doing? is the swap extremely expensive, or just expensive? my buddy says he knows a guy who could do the swap. thanks if anyone reads this. i know i post alot, usually its just for general sh!t. i always get a big chunk of money, but then have to put it on my credit card. i was also checking out www.autopartswarehouse.com ..they have a really nice borla exhaust, haven't seen one like this, it's got one tip on each side. not duals on each side. looks nice, it's in the replacement parts, not performance parts. engine, tranny, exhaust is what i wanna do? suspension maybe? thanks! price? worthy? should i try doing this... ITS NOT FOR SURE, gotta check with my buddy, see what the price is, if they'd let me just take the engine, and not the whole car. and see if my bro would help out, and parents let me. thanks guys

well i guess this engine is going to an auction? ..too new, not many miles? pry want a shitload for it my buddy told me. anyways, i still wanna do a swap bad, when i get some money im checkin out junkyards for a supercharged engine and tranny.
