Hesitates/sputters when cold?
Hey folks. My 3300 seems to have problems with bad sputtering and loss of power when the engines cold. Once it's warm, it runs fine. Any ideas? MAF sensor? What? :(
(Sorry if it's been asked before, but I searched and found nothing. :p )

what kind of plugs? Bosch plugs only lasted 5-6,000 miles in my 3300 before I developed a cold hesitation.

+4's, and they have less than 1K on them. I picked up some rapidfires, so I'll try the plugs first. Cheapest solution. lol Thanks.

Back ones are still a little pain. But, compared to other V6 around...LoL
Well, put the Rapidfires in, and it ran like sh*t, stalling, misfiring, etc. So, I put the Bosch back in , and it got worse. Checked the wires ,one of my expensive MSD wires, had a slightly bent metal contact that 'clips' onto the end of the plug. So, I'm guessing this is the problem. Must have bent it when taking it off the plug. Going to put my old Accel wires on and see if that does it before I drop another load on the MSD plugs. :(

Ew. Yeah, a bent wire connector would usually do it ;) Maybe you just need a new set?

Actually, it wasnt that. Somehow, when I was messing with the back plugs, I disconnected the O2 sensor. Not completely, so I couldnt tell. Unplugged, plugged it back in and it worked. LoL Also cleaned the MAF sensor one of the resistors or whatever it is that senses the air was black and filthy on one side.
