i want 200hp for my gt for $900

since what i said is probably not a good idea ....what do you guys suggest for a grand am ..i know i don't have the engine to do all the crap i want to, but i just want to have a unique sound and horsepower bc i see too many around. what about headers or cams? i'd like a throttle body and dhp but it looks like pyfc are upping the price in everything. i think i am going to get pulley's for sure. also wondering if my ram air hood will add any hp or sound since i already have a ram air set-up and it says on the site it's functional and cools the engine. any other parts that i can get for less than a grand please suggest so i can get them fast. i wanted to get to at the most 200hp? is this possible for 8 or 900???? thanks

go check your last thread, i put some good info up for you to look at.

a good cam from milzy will put you well over the 200hp threshold but is only good with alot of supporting mods. but are you looking at 200hp at the crank or wheels? this makes a HUGE difference.

200 at the crank....some headers, CAI, and a PCM should get you pretty close as long as you already have an exhaust. Ram Air Hood will add nothing. It was originally supposed to be functional once an airbox was made to work with it but it never was.

i forgot somethin, since your gagt is black you might also look into a carbonfiber sct hood from http://www.ceriousperformance.com

Which will add to your performance by being ALOT lighter.

Seriously...you have the same thread 3 times. The SD RA hood is fiberglass and yes it is lighter than the OEM RA hood.
