I've had the worst luck with getting my hood

So .....tried getting the SD Ram Air Hood from PFYC.com BUT, after almost $200 in freight shipping, they sent me the SC/T hood, when i told my bro and watched him type in the hood i wanted...no way it was our fault, it even says SC/T on the box, plus it's cracked. Def a nice a looking hood, functional, has a cut out for the airbox underneath, but yea wrong hood...and now i'm trying to get it outta here today and the new CORRECT one is supposed to be sent out tomorrow..the SC/T was supposed to get picked up between 2 and 4pm which it was never picked up...i mean, am i getting screwed here or am i just unlucky..anyone else had this problem? =(

maybe you'll get 2 hoods?

they didn't make you pay for the shipping again, did they? someone sent me the wrong front bumper cover last year, so i told them, and they sent fedex to get it, and sent out the new one at their expense. excellent.

I haven't heard many complaints about them. I would just be sure to make them cover all your costs etc.

yea for sure...i think the shipping next time is free...but they taxed me like $100 plus almost $200 for shipping ..so instead of $700 this f**kin' hood is over a $1000, and i still gotta pay to have it painted..kinda sucks!! pfyc is kind of p!ssing me off. AND STILL, they have not picked my hood up yet, the SD is supposed to be shipped out today, might have it next week...maybe the right one this type, no cracks either!

I'm confused, you should not have had to pay tax on this again... wait you should not have had to pay taxt at all because your an out of state customer, shopping on the internet.
They messed up, so you should not have had to pay for shipping again.

you need to call whoever the shipping company is, its not pfyc's fault if the shipping company is slacking on picking it up. just hound them until they show up.

as for them sending the wrong hood, first time ive heard of this, its not usual for pfyc to screw up, guess you just got the bad draw on this one. :(

yea i know it's mostly shipping's fault, but i dunno who's fault it is as to sending the wrong hood....SC/T has yet to be picked up, and now i'm just waiting on the SD. hopefully next week, i'll keep posting.!

just got my hood picked up today, finally ....i have a ? if anyone knows..........on pfyc.com, where they show the sd hood....does the hood come with the ram air decale ..or do u have to buy it seperately?

=) i finally got my hood............looks great, functional, i'll pry get a ram air decal for both sides of the scoop, i think i need an airbox ....i seen one on a site for $159.95 ....is that the one to get, or K&N filter? ....and if i get the airbox, do i need a cold air intake? ....if anyone responds thanks.....i get the hood put on tomorrow sometime, i'll have to figure out how to post pics on here to show u...i wanna get tail-light covers for my car, not diff. lights just covers, anyone know how to get ga ones? or do i gotta special order them? ....thanks if u send anything

Quick and simple. Nobody makes tail light covers, the cold air "box" sold on PFYC or Dr. Speed replaces the OEM one, a CAI sits outside the engine bay so it wouldn't make sense to get a cold air "box" and CAI and most importantly the hood is not functional no matter how you slice and dice it- it lets air into the engine bay but that's it.
