Right ratio for my rear end

Hey, I am having my 350 rebuilt and it is getting a 274 extreme energy comp cam and an RPM air gap intake. This is great but i was told the setup would lower my low end torque. My car is a 1987 camaro with a stock rear end with 3:08 gears i think... With the high gears i think the car might be a little sluggish off the line. I was wondering what rear end ratiowould work with my motor setup. And the tranny is a 700r4 with a 2400 stall converter and shift kit

any advice would be great
thanks matt
