Trans Headaches

HELP

sorry for my abscense, it just happens i became Dad since i signed up...not much time left. jason,

i need some help, i keep blowing transmissions, i have upgraded it with B&M ShiftKit, B&M Torque Converter, B&M DEEP oil pan all i run is B&M PROSYNTHETIC FLUID. it keeps getting stuck shifting. i have a VORTEC 5.3, BLOWN W/WHIPPLE BLOWER (7LBS) BOOST. I AM USING A DIABLO PROGRAMER which is the provider for whipple. it breathes through a POWERRAID COLD AIR INTAKE i have highflow Eldebrock Shorty Headers, High Flow Cats, Dual Exaust. also have a Jet MAS and Power Raid throtle body spacer. MSD ignition wires...I KNOW HAVE A FEW EXTRA PONYS... i need advice regarding SHIFT SELENOIDS, AS WELL AS THE GOVERNOR SELENOID. I WAS TOLD I CAN USE THE ONES FROM A CORVETTE...ANY ADVICE.

Hello Al! Congrats on becoming a dad! I know how that can change your schedule! Glad to see you on the site .. In my truck I had a 5.3L and got 160,000 miles out of the trans .. not sure exactly what could be your problem but I'm not the biggest gear head for sure. But, I'm sure one of the other GMPT guys will chime in with some valuable info! I'll keep an eye on this thread and thanks again for joining us @ GMPT!

Al,

In the top header of this website click "gallery". That will take you to the GMPT gallery page. Once you get to that page click "my albums". From that page, you can create albums and upload pics. Hope this helps.
