11 second 3800 Supercharged Fiero
I am new to the forum. Thanks to Finierio for bringing the site to my attention. Heres my car... its another Fiero. This one is a 85 model that was originally a 2.5 fourbanger. It now has 88 Gt bumper covers and trim a custom paint job done by myself and a transplanted 3.8L Supercharged engine and transmision from a 98 Pontiac GrandPrix. I also installed the engine. Ive added alot of aftermarket parts from ZZPerformance.com to get the car into the 11's. Thats on Drag Radials. The tends to jus spin on street tires :) Enough typing...heres the pics. Feel free to ask any questions.
The paintjob looks way better in person in my opinion...in photos the fade doesn't show up real good.

Engine...Intercooled L67 with 2.8 pulley and XP cam from ZZPerformance.com

Interior...

Jesus, a 2.8 pulley? Man, I dont envy your gas bill. Gotta run 98 octane minimum on that dont you?
Also, did you just have the snout turned down, or did you just get the new quick change adapter....

all superchaged 3800 cars should be using 98 octane. with the big motor and lil car i am getting 30 mpg on the highway. I am using the magnuson nose drive with a keyed pulley. oldschool, but i bought it before the newer pulley systems were introduced

why? I can run the 2.8 all the time. If i needed to swap the pulley all i need to do is take 2 wrenchs and remove one nut and the pulley comes off. Instead of 4 on the modulars.

thanks for the complimens. I see you have the same wheels. Mine are 17's all the way around. that was th ebiggest they made at the time. i'd like to pit 19's on the back and 18's on the front but I'll probably never get around to it. Jus a tip....if you paint the in between the spokes on the outer rim, black, it makes the wheels look bigger. i'll post a pics to show you.

Re: 11 second 3800 Supercharged Fiero
hello hellrazr i'm new to this forum and know several people who own fieros with this setup including myself it sure does surprise alot of people. mine is a 1988 t-top black with 17 in wheels no intercooler (hopefully in the future) i'm currently have a 3.2 in pulley on it i would go with the 2.7 in but i would need an intercooler in order to avoid knock retard. do you have any numbers on how much torque your ride is putting out mine currently gives me 338 ft lbs.at around 4000 rpm and runs in the mid to low 13 second range at just over 100 mph. i average about 32mpg on the highway and if gentle about 18 mpg. around town not to bad for a daily driver an information exchange would be nice as i'm always looking to increase performance.
