Thumbs up My Boosted L67 Fiero

This is my 1986 Pontiac Fiero GT, I purchased it 3 years ago, and it looked like this...

It was an automatic 2.8 V6 faded gold Fiero with just over 50K on it. The interior was just perfect, as was the outside, except for the fading paint. A great car, I drove it daily for 2 years.

I tend to do one BIG change every year, the time over winter when there are no car shows.

The first big change was the paint, I tore EVERY panel off this car by myself, it was a pain in the butt.

To see the new paint, scroll down just a little more.

The next was to swap out that Auto with a 5-speed manual. I didn't do this swap, I had someone else do it. Now that I look back on it, I wish I had done it due to some shady things I saw while disasembling it for the upcomming engine swap. Don't have any pics of the trans swap.

The last and final thing I did to the car was to swap out that little 2.8 V6, and slap in a new fully built 3800 Supercharged V6. I also installed a V8 Archie Big Brake kit, consisting of 11.25" brakes, all new larger calipers, larger master, and SS brake lines.

You can check out the ENTIRE build of this swap over here...
http://www.fiero.nl/forum/Forum2/HTML/068188.html

Here are the mods to the Engine
-ZZP Stage 2 IC
-3" pulley
-ported, polished, and gasket matched heads
-105# valve springs with oversize valves, and titainium keepers
-Comp OER lifters
-Intense lightweight pushrods
-Comp cams custom grind
531 intake/532 exhaust/214 duration/114 lobe seperaton
-Full roller timing set
-Ported exhaust manifols
-3" mandrel exhaust
-AC and PS delete
-180 stat
-103 plugs
-Blueprinted/balanced
-ARP fasteners throughout the engine

Over this 3 year period, it turned into this...

This next one has the old rims on it, but I want you to see the difference in color in different kinds of light

The car also has a full stereo system consisting of an 8" sub, two rockford amps, 4ch and a mono, Alpine head unit, 5.25 component rockford front speakers, and Pioneer 4" plate speakers in the rear. You can check out the build of the sub box here...
http://www.fiero.nl/forum/Forum1/HTML/051244.html

That is basicly my car's history in a nutshell, I hope you enjoyed it.

Forgot one more thing, a few weeks ago, I was being filmed on the road, and I found the clip on streetfire.net. It is me racing an Eclipse GS-T. You can watch it to see how crazy the supercharger sounds. It says that my car is a supercharged V8, but the vid is wrong.

http://videos.streetfire.net/video/3...03b1856b5b.htm

And here is a clip of my car idling for anybody who cares
http://media.putfile.com/3800SC-Idle

BTW, the car is ALL GM, from the car itself, to the 3800 engine, to the factory color paint.

This is also my daily driver too.

that is FANTASTIC! I love the color, and well by the vid, it definately moves and sounds mean. I always wanted to do a fiero as a project car at some point in my life, this might be my inspiration.

I don't have any official numbers, but compairing my setup to other Fieros with similar mods, I should be able to dip into the 11's.
