His and hers Fleetwoods !!!
The beige one is "HIS" 93 FLEETWOOD 5.7L TBI
The Gray one is "HERS" 96 FLEETWOOD 5.7L LT1
The wheels on my 93 Fleetwood are the Eagle Alloys 203’s {polished} 17” X 9.5” with a 5 ½” back spacing . (they are 10 years old) with Bridgestone Potenza’s 285/40/17 .. the wheels on the wife’s 96 Fleetwood are the Eagle Alloy BOSS 304’s {Chrome} 18” X 9” with a 5 ½ “ back spacing with 255/45/18 Pirelli Scorpions tires . Her 96 is FASTER …LT1 .. I have the Eibach Impala SS springs on my car, I put the stock Impala SS springs on her car. I think the perfect spring (after doing this twice) would be the Eibach Caprice springs ..I think that would be the perfect ride height .. not that I don’t like what I have but I think the Caprice Eibach’s would be perfect .. Her car is all stock other then the springs and wheels ..mine on the other hand, I have a pair of KYB gas shocks on the front and the stock Impala SS sway bar on the back. my tires are a few years old and hers are brand new … New tires always ride better .. I like my firmer ride when the road gets hilly / bumpy;. hers still floats .. on smooth road the both ride about the same .. very close.. both still have the auto leveling air system on the rear .(see other thread I started) I think what makes my car look “meaner” is that it’s lower and I removed the front bumperettes ..what else could it be? It’s the same car … 6speed? She does like a stick so that just might happen … No Roadmasters …. YET .. ;) . the Oldsmobile Custom Cruiser she’s not into .. she hasn’t driven it yet … no plans to get another wagon but you never know .. thanks for all the props guys .. It’s much appreciated … just doing my part to preserve the last real car GM ever built …
What do you think ? ;)
