May 2006 GMOTM Voting
Another GM of the Month contest is underway @ GM Performance Tuning! Last month proved to be speed was the favorite over looks. Will it be the same this month? Will the 900HP Rocketship on wheels win or will Deptacons clean black AED Grand AM with a Zex nitrous setup win? Or maybe NBodyRacer's super sleeper 1991 Oldsmobile Calais with a totally fresh engine and lots of true gear head work put into it after sitting for 15 months, neglected, with no engine will take GMOTM? Wait .. what about Eric's Black GAGT, with the looks and speed to back it up? And last, Chris' Clean Shaven GAGT with some killer custom fiberglass doors he worked on for over 2 months and a nice audio setup.
Performance ? Sound ? Looks ? Overall hardwork on a project car ? What do you prefer?
Cast your vote today for May 2006's GMOTM only at GMPT! Winners will get the official GMOTM trophy (as soon as my lazy guy finishes it) mailed to them along with other prizes!
These 5 finalist all have amazing cars in there very own way! I would like to personally congratulate them and let them know what amazing rides they have.
Let the voting begin!!

And just an FYI for everyone .. if you made it this far and don't win, your car can be selected for another GMOTM, but, one GMOTM contest must pass. So, the next opportunity would be July.
It's always a tough contest for sure! So many great cars.

Damn Jamz, I put my submission way before anyone and you dissed me again. Your contest is fuggin bias. Are the members deciding these finalists? I don't think it should be up to you to decide. I cant compete with all these heavy late model riced out fiber glass razzi kit cars I guess. I hope N-body or Rocketman wins. I can tell you have a late model GA that's 75% of what you picked two months in a row.

The contest isn't met to be biased and we know that it's hard having one class to have it all equal. The finalist are decided by me and a panel I have that assist. Not everyone on the panel is even associated with this website for various reasons.
I don't have a late model Grand Am. I have a 93 GAGA, a 03 Silverado, and a 1964 Corvair. The selections have nothing to do with me. You are seeing a lot of late model Grand AM's because if you look, a lot of late models GA's are entering. So, clearly they will continue to appear.
Thanks for the comments and I am open to suggestions on how you think the contest should run :) It isn't an easy task.

Don't mind me Jason, I'm just a sore loser lol
Sorry I didn't know there was a panel. I thought you were deciding this alone on your own judgment. I understand there is some real stiff competition and the fact that I even had a chance was cool. I would never be up against some of these cars any where else in any type of competition. Why don't you just list all the cars that want in and let everyone vote? It's not like there are allot of us. I could see if everyone was trying to get in but how many was it 10 tops? This is your show man I don't want to change anything, I'm still new here and I probably started enough of crap.
One thing should be certain though vote should not be on how long you have been here or how good or bad your personality is, it should be based like you said "Performance ? Sound ? Looks ? Overall hardwork on a project car" also don't forget "originality" too.
Sorry if I came off like a p.i.t.a. but I am one ;)

wow, tough one. I'm WAY partial to N-bodies, because I are one.
But, I'm also alot more into power over looks.
Deptacon's looks the best overall for appearance. I think, and ya got ballz the size of Montana for runnin with white carpet. I appreciate all the hard work you put into it. Looks alone dont get me going though like having mad nutz to back it up.
Roktman nailed it though with that S/C Impala, though I shouldn't just because you own a Dodge :)
Just can't resist raw power underfoot.
As for me, I'm waiting for SikMindz before I enter :)
