Another amazing GMOTM contest has ended with the BATTLE OF THE FIERO'S! We had 5 of the best Fiero's on the internet and Golden86's Boosted L67 won the July 2006 GMOTM contest. I would like to personally applaud Golden86 for an amazing ride and would ask each of you to do the same.
His Story:
"It was an automatic 2.8 V6 faded gold Fiero with just over 50K on it. The interior was just perfect, as was the outside, except for the fading paint. A great car, I drove it daily for 2 years. I tend to do one BIG change every year, the time over winter when there are no car shows. The first big change was the paint, I tore EVERY panel off this car by myself, it was a pain in the butt. The next was to swap out that Auto with a 5-speed manual. I didn't do this swap, I had someone else do it. Now that I look back on it, I wish I had done it due to some shady things I saw while disasembling it for the upcomming engine swap. Don't have any pics of the trans swap. The last and final thing I did to the car was to swap out that little 2.8 V6, and slap in a new fully built 3800 Supercharged V6. I also installed a V8 Archie Big Brake kit, consisting of 11.25" brakes, all new larger calipers, larger master, and SS brake lines. You can check out the ENTIRE build of this swap over here...
