AEM with GM Coil packs
I'm trying to run a 3800 on an EMS, and it looks like i'll have to run 6 individual coils to get the full functionality of the timing. I know that is probably better overall, but at first i was trying to see if its been done with stock coils. |

Re: AEM with GM Coil packs
ure better off using Ls1 style coils anyway, the ICM controls spark timing until a certain RPM and the PCM takes over, so for a aem EMS system i cant see that working either

Re: AEM with GM Coil packs
Wow, forgot all about this forum. I just wanted to say that I got the car running with LS1 style coils. I deleted the stock ign module and pinned the 18x crank sensor and the 1x cam sensor to the AEM, and ignored the 3x crank signal.
