Unhappy HELP, PCM issue??

Hey guys, I'm hoping somebody can shed some light on this problem I'm having. I had recently had my transmission rebuilt in my 1996 Pontiac Grand AM GT and now it's doing the same thing it was doing before I took it to be rebuilt. It's shifting back and forth from Overdrive to Drive at speeds between 55 and 75 mph. After the rebuild the tranny did stop slipping and shifted from gear to gear just fine with no problems but it's still having the same Overdrive problems. I had a new torque converter installed as well as an overhaul kit. So I took it back to the shop that did the rebuild and he put in 2 different used PCM's and a new lock up solenoid. The first one didn't let the car shift out of first gear, the second did exactly what the original one did, and the solenoid did nothing either, so now the shop is telling me I need a new PCM. I had spoken to a friend of mine who is a GM Tech and he wants me to bring it by the dealership so he can diagnose it. Now if it's the torque converter I'll just have the shop that rebuilt the tranny put in a new one seeing though it's under warranty. However if it's the PCM I was thinking of buying a reflashed one from Milzy Motorsports. Anybody ever have this problem? Anybody ever buy one of these reflashed PCM's and have any good luck? My car is a 96 and Milzy Motorsports only reflashes 97-98 but I was told as long as the PCM controlled a G/A just like mine with a 3100 V6 and a 4T60E tranny there should be no problems with the year of PCM. I don't know what route to go, should I play it safe and buy a stock PCM or go with Milzy Motorsports? PLEASE HELP.

Re: HELP, PCM issue??

Check the transmission fluid levels. It sounds like it's doing the same thing my dads truck does when it's low of ATF.
Or it's a problem with the TQ converter.

If the original shop that did the work can't diagnose the problem right away it might be a good idea to have you friend at the dealer take a look.
