I do know the GTP was made as far back as '97. Searching for a pic of one for the hood.
But I think the GTP only started in '97....not sure on that one yet. I think the performance edition in '92 was known as an STE which was a turbo 3.1L. Again, not certain, but that's what most information seems to point to.

that's cool....I couldn't get into cardomain earlier, but I finally found some GTP's as early as 1991.
Here's a '92 GTP for ya with what looks like that hood on it. http://www.cardomain.com/ride/1414125

Oh, f*ckin' A, I found a wire holding on by one strand so I took the connector and all off soldered on some new wire and now the thing is so fawkin' hard to get back in!
I must say though my GP came with the shop manuals and they are hella nice so have, anything you wanna know just flip the page and boom there it is! I checked the diagram and it said the wire went to the magnetic timing sensor? The wire was purple, maybe a reason I had trouble starting it lol. once I get this f*ckin' connector back on she should fire. (I hope, I'm crossing my fingers ) |

all auto makers put crap in stupid places. it's called having a FWD car, hehe. it isn't like oldschool where there was tons of room in the engine bay.
you have it easy, anyway, if that's all you had to do to change a battery. try changing an alternator on a neon or a waterpump on a quad 4. |
