Re: LT1 eating V6?
from reading above about needing spacers for slicks, i thought you might be interested in looking at the spacers i just purchased from skulte performance, and they are very well designed and built.
Rear wheel spacers - N-Body Power
killer build by the way!

Good friend of mine has a 350hp crate 327 in his 88 fast back Fiero ;). We are actually about to put a f40 6 speed tranny, Patriot Freedom CNC ported heads, new cam, and dual quad 550cfm carbs on it.
Well come to find out the rear is a Dana M78 (AKA 9 bolt or Aussie rear from Holden) and has a 7.65" gear, 3.45 gears woot!
The other turbo came in, I sealed up all the welds, and started grinding them down to look pretty after cermic coating...
I thought I was going to be able to keep the power steering and A/C, but after checking the final resting place for the driver's turbo the stocker P/S has to go. The A/C compressor is now quite a bit lower, and I think it actually looks neater this way. I have a manual steering box to use temp, perhaps a Signaw remote res pump will fit, but I'll try that later. Will have manual steering for the moment (at least I still have A/C haha). There might be room in front of the passenger head, we'll see...

Wow, that looks awesome.
I'd be a little concerned about how close that Right Turbo is to the Brake booster though. How are you going to keep that cool?

Yeah I know it's close, but I have done tighter turbo installs. A turbo blanket and ceramic coated turbing housing should help it. Might even need to move some lines.
The turbos are just sitting in place, there's no collectors or flanges on the headers yet, this was just to get and idea of where they are going to sit.
EDIT: Actually looking at these pics, I can see why you would say that. The turbo isn't as close to the lines as it appears. There's a few inches of room.

Hey there!
You know exactly what I'm up to ;)
Any issues with the roller lifters, or did you go with the flat tappets?
Yes, the shortblock is from a 1995 Camaro, 3500 top end, big cam, and 11.56:1 compression --- and yes I am boosting it :P

I went the safe way with ft crane 272 cam even though I don't see they could starve the bottom end since they are the same except for the roller on top. Seems to be running pretty good right now even though I haven't got a good tune since my o2 sensor won't show me anything except 446 volts, going to get a multimeter and start testing. Ecm shows 97mph through 1/4 but thats on the road.
