Turbo For 3400

I've read the Garrett T3 works pretty with the 3400. What mods are needed to accomodate a turbo on a 3400 and maintain a balance of driveability and performance? This is a daily driver, so I don't want to build a flat out race engine, but would like to get the Alero into the low - mid 14's.

You're going to need exhaust manifolds (custom made), BOV, wastegate, all the goodies. You're going to need to tune for the turbo (either by yourself or find someone with a tuner who knows what they're doing). Forged internals will be needed if you plan to go over 8 psi, but you should be able to get into the 14's with 8.
Eventually, the 4t40 tranny in your car WILL go, so you're going to have to figure out a way to get around that.
There's a member on grandamgt.com and gaownersclub.com named angrysk8r that did his own turbo set up for around 1800 dollars (I think), so I would talk to him.
